It finally feels like spring is here! Even though I am still donning a cardigan and tights on most days, the sun peeps out from behind the clouds more frequently and people seem more perky.
I love the anticipation of a new season, spring especially. Here are just a few things I am looking forward to this spring:
We have been planning this holiday since we got back from our last trip to the US in mid 2009. Needless to say, I am more than excited that we are now just one month away (and 2 hours, 29 minutes and 19 seconds)! I can’t wait to get massages in Malaysia, wander down Main Street at Walt Disney World (while poking my head into all the cute shops and buying too many Disney-themed souvenirs), go on a bike ride through central park and discover all the burrows of Los Angeles (not to mention the cupcake shops). It is going to be grand!

I am turning 23 this year, which I cannot believe because I still feel – and look – 18. As much as I love the number 22 (my birthday is November 22), I think year-23 will be good to me, with my plans to move out, bridesmaidly duties for my brother’s wedding and many many crafty projects I want to get off the ground.
THE LEAD UP TO CHRISTMAS
days till christmas countdown block by TatteredWalls
I love Christmas. This year my sister and I have decided we are in charge of the table decorations so I have started compiling some thoughts and will be pinning them soon. I know so many people who get overwhelmed and annoyed at the thought of Christmas but I embrace every second of it. I even listen to Christmas soundtracks in my car (Baby, It’s Cold Outside was last year’s favourite and anything by Bing Crosby is a given).

Oh berries how I have missed you! I’m definitely going to be making a lot of this and munching on more cherries than I can afford.

Not the fruit, the colour! I can’t wait to sub out my dark winter clothing for some bright, sunset-inspired pieces. I think I’ll need to invest in Are We There Yet? by OPI as well.
On top of all this are my plans to host a garden party! I will be sure to be wear a floral, floaty dress while sipping on pear cider. Oh the excitement!
